We're a small, mostly volunteer team who put practical technology to work for the Gospel. What we do fits in one sentence: helping people hear the Good News in their heart language.

Where we come from

Our story

From cardboard phonographs to memory cards: the media changed, the intent never did. Each generation picked up the same task with the tools of its day — records, cassettes, CDs, memory cards, and today small solar audio players.

The beginnings of evangelism through audiovisual media
The work is part of a global audiovisual evangelization movement that began with Joy Ridderhof, a missionary in Honduras in the 1930s, who used records and portable phonographs to spread the Gospel.

What makes Audio Vie different?

We only pass on recordings whose source and content are clear, produced by ministries with a solid track record.

Simplicity first

A device should explain itself in a minute — no manual, no screen, no account to create.

Affordable on purpose

We push the cost as low as we can, so distribution is never held back by a budget line.

Built to survive

Heat, dust, humidity, no mains power: our tools are chosen and tested for those realities.

Serving, never replacing

We don't step in front of local churches and missions. We hand them capacity, then get out of the way.

Field-proven over fashionable

Technology only counts if it still works in a village with no network, five years after it was delivered.

We want practical Gospel technology to keep becoming more accessible, more reproducible and more useful to ministries wherever they serve.

In practice that means tools local teams can load, repair and multiply on their own, without depending on us. We move one step at a time, listening to the field rather than announcing grand plans.
